Terms of Service
Effective June 4, 2026
The short version: pay once, use Subba forever on your own devices. Your data is yours and stays on your phone. The app helps you track subscriptions but you remain responsible for your own billing decisions.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Subba ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Subba you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your download from the App Store.
2. The license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Subba on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.
3. One-time purchase
Subba's full functionality is unlocked by a single one-time purchase. It is not a subscription: there are no recurring charges, no renewal, and nothing to cancel. The purchase supports Family Sharing, so members of your iCloud family group can use it under Apple's Family Sharing rules.
Payment is processed by Apple. Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by region. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under their App Store refund policy; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Your data and your responsibility
Everything you enter in Subba is stored only on your device. We have no copy and cannot recover it for you. If you want a backup, use the built-in CSV or JSON export, or include the app in your normal device backup.
Subba is an organizational tool. It shows the prices and renewal dates you enter; it does not connect to your bank, does not charge or cancel subscriptions for you, and does not verify the amounts third parties actually bill you. Decisions about subscribing, cancelling, or spending remain yours. Subba does not provide financial advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Subba in any way that violates applicable law or attempts to interfere with the app's operation, circumvent the purchase, or misuse the App Store.
6. The app is provided "as is"
We work hard to make Subba reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for missed renewals, unwanted charges from third-party services, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Subba. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms over time. If we change the terms materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. Sections 4 through 7 survive termination.
